Woody Austin and John Rollins were among many golfers competing in the 50th Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer this past week. This was the first tournament of the season for Austin and Rollins, and Sandler Training couldnÕt be happier with the golfers’ determination to conquer competition.

“Obviously, these golfers have wonderful talents and have worked very hard to achieve success at the highest level of golf,” says Dave Mattson, CEO of Sandler Training. “We have been equally impressed with how they have represented our organization to the thousands of Sandler clients and golf fans around the globe.”

Austin started off the match scoring 67 and followed up with a score of 68 in the second and third round. While both players performed well, Austin managed to pull ahead and finish up in the top 45, leaving the Bob Hope Classic with a score of 339.

Sandler Training has announced the renewal of its sponsorship agreements with golfers Woody Austin, John Rollins and Omar Uresti. The players will wear the Sandler logo on their golf hats and other apparel during the 2009 PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour seasons.

“During 2008, I enjoyed interacting with Sandler offices and clients worldwide as I played and competed on the PGA TOUR. I look forward to continuing these relationships and promoting the benefits of Sandler Training in the upcoming season,” Rollins, a two-time TOUR champ, said..

“Sandler Training helps people and organizations achieve their goals because it uniquely recognizes that fundamental and lasting improvements require repeated reinforcement over time. Like the Sandler® brand, success on the golf course, especially at the high level of play on the PGA TOUR, is founded on the same commitment to excellence,” says Dave Mattson, CEO of Sandler Training.

Sandler specifically chose to partner with these golfers for several reasons. “Obviously, these golfers have wonderful talents and have worked very hard to achieve success at the highest level of golf. We have been equally impressed with how they have represented our organization to the thousands of Sandler clients and golf fans around the globe,” Mattson also said.
