Last week, Sandler Training’s Omar Uresti and John Rollins competed in the Mayakoba Golf Classic. The event, hosted in Riviera Maya, Mexico, is the PGA Tour’s only Mexican tournament.

Both Omar and John made the cut, with final scores of 76-66-72-70 and 72-70-71-72, respectively. It was Omar’s best performance in a PGA TOUR event so far this year.

Next week, John Rollins and Woody Austin will be playing in the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Watch the coverage on GOLF on March 5 & 6, from 3-6 pm, or on NBC on March 7 & 8, from 3-6pm, ET.

Woody Austin and John Rollins competed in the Northern Trust Open this past week, hosted in Pacific Palisades, California.

Woody shot 68-70-69-71, landing him in the top 30 and marking the 4th time he’s made the cut this year. Sandler Training is excited to see what develops with this impressive golfer as the season rolls on.

This coming week, Woody will be playing in World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, so tune in to GOLF on February 25, 26, & 27 from 2- 6pm, ET. You can catch both John Rollins and Omar Uresti in the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun, broadcast on GOLF February 26, 27, & 28 from 6:30-8:30 pm and on March 1 from 7-9:30 pm ET.

Woody Austin and John Rollins competed in the Buick Invitational this past week, which was hosted in San Diego, California. It was a big week for the Sandler golf team as John Rollins received an immense amount of press coverage for his outstanding performance.

John Rollins’ game was on fire as he took an early lead in the Buick Invitational. Proudly showing off the Sandler® logo on his golf attire and scoring an impressive 278, Rollins finished the Buick Invitational in second place. In his second round with an 8-under 64 on Friday at the Torrey Pines’ South Course, Rollins had the day’s best round and almost matched the 2002 South Course record. This is the sixth runner-up finish of Rollins’ career and his performance thus far proves to all competitors on the field that he is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

Meanwhile at the Panama Digicel Championship on the Nationwide Tour in Panama, Omar Uresti had his own course to dominate. Scoring a 67 in round one and landing a position among the top 40 golfers, Uresti ended the tournament with a final score of 284.

Sandler Training’s Woody Austin and John Rollins competed in the FBR Open this past week, hosted in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Austin came to the field with assurance, landing a 69 in the first and third round and 67 in round four. Ending the tournament with an impressive performance and score of 277, Austin finished in the top 25. Rollins also managed to make the cut this past week, leaving the FBR Open with a score of 290. Sandler Training is proud of the determination Austin and Rollins exude on the golf course and is confident they will continue to face their challenges head-on throughout the rest of the season.

Sandler golfer Omar Uresti will also be starting his season on the Nationwide Tour this week by participating in the Panama Digicel Championship in Panama, Republica De Panama.

Woody Austin and John Rollins were among many golfers competing in the 50th Bob Hope Classic hosted by Arnold Palmer this past week. This was the first tournament of the season for Austin and Rollins, and Sandler Training couldnÕt be happier with the golfers’ determination to conquer competition.

Austin started off the match scoring 67 and followed up with a score of 68 in the second and third round. While both players performed well, Austin managed to pull ahead and finish up in the top 45, leaving the Bob Hope Classic with a score of 339.

Sandler Training has announced the renewal of its sponsorship agreements with golfers Woody Austin, John Rollins and Omar Uresti. The players will wear the Sandler logo on their golf hats and other apparel during the 2009 PGA TOUR and Nationwide Tour seasons.

John Rollins, Omar Uresti and Woody Austin concluded their PGA TOUR seasons this weekend in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The Children’s Miracle Network Classic presented by Wal-Mart held similar outcomes for Austin and Rollins who both tied for 33rd by the end of the match. Both players posted almost identical low scores in all four rounds totaling at 277.

Not far behind was Omar Uresti, who also performed well. Uresti had the best first round of our team with a 67. His final score of 280 landed him the 48th spot.

Sandler Training Golf Stars Omar Uresti and John Rollins clutched sound finishes in Palm Coast, Florida this weekend.

Omar Uresti consistently posted a 73 in all but round three during the match. He tied at 48th with his final score of 291. With only one point to separate their performances, Rollins placed 54th by posting 292 at the end of the event.

For the upcoming event in Florida, Woody Austin will join Rollins and Uresti to represent Sandler Training.

The Atunyote Golf Club at Turning Stone Resort hosted Sandler Training Golfer, Woody Austin during the Turning Stone Resort Championship this past weekend.

Austin consistently shot a 69 in each round following a solid score of 74 in round one. He tied for third at the end of the match with a final score of 281.

Austin was mentioned on PGATour.com in the third round “Groups We’re Watching” article. Woody also spoke about his game in Verona. “I hit a lot of good shots on that back nine” Austin said. “I missed every short one because I couldn’t get them online, and then I made two long ones. You’re at the mercy of the bounce, I guess.”

The first stop of the PGA Tour Fall Series in Madison, Mississippi yielded another top ten finish for Woody Austin.

In three rounds of the match, he scored a 69 and he was one of only four players to post all four rounds in the 60’s. Austin tied for 8th with a final score of 274.
